5 Top Tips on How You Can Lose Weight in 3 Months

Staying in good health and being physically fit can seem like a daunting challenge for most people. However, it does not have to be treated with such disdain. Losing weight is very achievable, and there are many ways that you can lose a lot of weight fast. Dieting is the number one reason most people hate losing weight, and with so much information, it can be difficult knowing where to start. Many diets leave people feeling hungry and dissatisfied, yet not all diets have to be this way. Today we will investigate some of the top five ways you can start to lose weight in just three months.

Hydration Matters

Maintaining regular hydration is crucial and highly recommended if you want to lose weight. Drinking water from either your water cooler or fountain at the gym allows your body to replenish essential minerals and helps feed oxygen to muscles and organs. Staying hydrated also helps you stay satiated for longer! Having a glass of water before you eat has been shown to help people feel fuller for longer and get used to their new way of eating. If you have an issue drinking water because it is too bland, try dicing some nutritious fruit to pack your beverage full of flavor and goodness!

Reducing Carbohydrates

Carbs are often the most difficult part of a person’s weight loss journey. This is because they come in primarily two groups: simple and complex. Simple carbs are sugars and can either be natural in foods or added. Complex carbs pack a lot more nutrients than simple carbs and can be higher in fiber and more filling. When it comes to weight loss, the most important part is cutting back on sugars and some starches. Doing this will promote weight loss as the body will begin seeking glycogen from fat cells as opposed to carbohydrates.

Eating Protein, Fat, and Vegetables

All your meals need to contain these food types. Consistently eating a maximum of two or three meals per day and assembling your meals correctly will help you lose weight much quicker. Eating a mix of protein-rich foods from plant-based and/or animal sources can help supply the body with crucial nutrients to sustain health and weight loss. Most importantly, do not neglect the power of veg! If these are low in carbs, you can eat plenty of vegetables to feed the body with fiber, vitamins, and minerals. When it comes to fats, we do not mean any form of fat. Sources of healthy fats like olive oil, avocados, nuts and omega three, etc. are exactly what the body needs.


Losing weight in three months is completely possible, but not without some form of exercise. Engaging in LISS (Low-Intensity Steady State) cardio is good for the body but will not achieve maximum results. Looking at resistance training or HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) is great for building strength and losing weight. We recommend that you work your way up to three to four times a week and structure training accordingly to compliment progression with recovery. 

Avoid Drinking 

This may sound like we are contradicting the first point, but this is exclusive to alcohol! Booze is a big problem in weight loss as the body simply does not handle alcohol well. You may think that one or two is fine, but how your body processes alcohol is very counterproductive in a weight loss diet. We recommend that you completely cut out alcohol and stick to natural beverages if you are serious about achieving your goal.
