Cameroon: 2 Suicide Bombings Kill at Least 5 People, Official Says:

CAMEROON, YAOUNDE —
A military official said that two female suicide bombers had staged strikes in north Cameroon, killing at least five individuals.

He said the suicide bombers were Nigerians who’d come as refugees to Cameroon.

Kodji were getting treatment at a military camp in Mora and said 12 other people were injured.

This was the first-time suicide bombers had assaulted a hamlet on the road, Dabanga to the Kousseri boundary post.

No group claimed responsibility for the assaults, which were in line with others established by Boko Haram extremists, who would like to make a hardline Islamic state in northeast Nigeria.

This year, strikes enlarged into Chad, Cameroon and Niger — all states providing troops to a regional power intended to wipe out the extremists.
