Dadri, Uttar Pradesh: Inquiry Suggests That Sept. 28 Lynching Victim Ate Mutton Instead of Beef:
The meat recovered from the home of the Dadri lynching victim wasn’t beefs but goat meat, disclosed the enquiry of the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary department.
The report is a portion of the chargesheet which was filed against 15 individuals including Shivam, son and Vishal Rana and nephew of a local BJP leader Sanjay Rana for his alleged participation in the lynching of Akhlaq.
Shivam and Vishal had supposedly spread the rumour and directed a violent mob that attacked the house of Akhlaq, lynched him and viciously assaulted his younger son Danish.
“This we’ve been saying all along.
“My dad was killed as a result of mass hysteria created by some individuals gain by doing politics over beef. He will not come back. I simply need to request to individuals of the nation that this shouldn’t really happen ever again with anybody,” included Sartaj who became emotional while discussing the case.
