PM Narendra Modi Observes Diwali With Soldiers, Pays Court at Dograi War Memorial:

AMRITSAR: Prime Minister visited with the Dograi War Memorial in Amritsar and put wreath in the site of one of the most demanding battles fought and won by Indian forces on September 22, 1965.

Addressing the troops, Prime Minister said, “I’ve come to celebrate Diwali wity you. I’m happy to get this chance..”

Hailing the soldiers, the Prime Minister said, “it’s due to your valour, loyalty and wishes that the entire world looks at India with admiration. It’s not only due to the uniform but nature of the armed forces.”

Several of the war veterans have returned their medals as a piece of their demonstration.

Afterwards, Prime Minister tweeted, “I spent time with our soldiers and we had an excellent dialogue.”

This is actually the second consecutive Diwali since becoming the Prime Minister that he spent with troops. On Diwali, he spent time with the troops and had seen Siachen, the greatest battleground on earth.
