The tradition of planting trees has been around for a long time. Planting trees eliminates carbon from the atmosphere, helps stabilize land, alleviates pollution, and prevents soil moisture evaporation. Cutting down trees and deforestation can lead to some undesirable outcomes that are not beneficial to planet Earth by any means. In the same way, when it comes to waste disposal, a prime example of this can be seen when looking at how we deal with green waste. Ranging from garden cuttings and wood chips to cutting down trees, green waste can be considered less troublesome than other forms of waste because organic materials are easy to decompose. In this regard, Tony Raynor, a notable figure in the tree and green waste recycling industry, has been in the industry for over 20 years and is on a mission to make the world more livable for the future and the current generation. He founded Sustainable Green Team after initiating several successful Florida tree and green waste processing businesses.
Innovative
With a career spanning two decades in the tree and green waste recycling industry, he has successfully led teams of employees and developed innovative methods for recycling trees and green waste. He started his career by founding several successful tree and green waste recycling and processing facilities and services. These companies quickly established a reputation for dependability and efficiency while expanding into other areas.
Flagship project
Tony Raynor, a keen supporter of a sustainable environment, started his flagship National Storm Recovery Project in 2017, intending to clean up the environmental clutter left behind by natural catastrophes. The National Storm Recovery, headquartered in Astatula, Florida, provides disaster cleaning services to business and residential clients. He has removed more than 100 million cubic yards of debris with the help of his team and the desire to make the world a better place to live. His contributions have brought him to the attention of many people and impacted his career.
New Machinery
Throughout his career, Raynor has bought a wide range of machines from several manufacturers. However, over a decade ago, JCB equipment drew his attention, which eventually led him to purchase a couple of models from the Briggs JCB shops in Florida. The manufacturer’s 505-20TC telehandler was SGTM’s first JCB equipment acquisition, which Raynor also chose due to its multitasking capacity and abilities.
SGTM has developed plans to expand further. Includes a significant expansion in Astatula. On a 100-acre tract, the company’s main tree debris collecting site will comprise a structure housing its mulch manufacturing, soil composting, and production bagging facilities. The enormous area can hold millions of cubic yards of organic debris, allowing SGTM’s debris-hauling business to save significantly on transportation expenses.
Expansion
The Sustainable Green Team has the potential to generate millions of cubic yards of HumiSoil per year and plans to expand that capacity through industrial collaborations. Annually, the organization handles millions of cubic yards of tree waste as a result of storms and regular tree maintenance. Furthermore, it has several businesses across the United States through government contracts and the ones it has in Florida.
Throughout his career, Raynor has learned from others and passed on his wealth of knowledge about sustainability to the industry and emerging entrepreneurs. He focuses more on innovations and less on being labeled “number one” in the industry. His work is his primary responsibility, and he contributes to the industry. He looks forward to making a huge environmental impact through his continued efforts.
Going West
He started with a Chevy U-Haul van to eventually establish a company that could bring back sustainability. His contributions to the tree and green waste recycling industries so far cannot be neglected. He has experienced different industry segments, and under his shadow, SGTM has flourished and grown significantly due to his efforts. Raynor plans to take the company to the west coast with the idea of opening up doors of opportunity, driving people back to work, and, in short, bringing back life to the West.
Conclusion
The method of acquiring other companies to join Raynor’s teams has helped him elevate his company and other companies that join the group. He utilizes his skills to educate people about environmental concerns and to urge them to take action to protect the planet in every way possible.
