Pilgrim rush at Vemulawada – Telangana

With the biennial Samakka-Sarakka jatara in Medaram of Warangal district to start from February 17, the pilgrim hurry swelled at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada of Karimnagar district on Monday.

The Medaram jatara would be held from February 17 to 20. It’s a convention for the devotees going on a pilgrimage to provide prayers and Medaram jto visit Vemulawada temple shrine to the presiding deities Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi. With just two days the devotees have arrived from various areas of the State for darshan in large numbers at Vemulawada temple shrine.
