Russian plane carrying 224 passengers crashed in the Sinai: Egypt PMO

A Russian plane taking 224 passengers crashed to the earth in Egypt’s Sinai Saturday morning soon after it departed Sharm al-Sheikh airport, Deputy Manager of Sharm el-Sheikh Airport Hani Ramzy told ONTV Channel. Debris of the airplane was located in Sinai, Heavens new Arabia reported while official source at Sharm al-Sheikh airport told Reuters the airplane went off radar and crashed “far in the Egyptian airspace.”

The airplane belonged to Kogalymavia airline, a small airline located in Western Siberia, in accordance with RT. Youm7 quoted eyewitnesses who reported the airplane crashing in the middle in Hasna Village. Prime Minister Sherif Ismail has canceled his scheduled trip following a civilian airplane fall in Sinai to Ismailia city, source told Youm7.
