Sanam Re safe at Box office while Fitoor’s a disaster!
The box office verdict is outside and we are shocked! A picture like Sanam Re starring comparatively lesser known stars like Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat has taken a lead ahead of a movie like Fitoor that boasts of big names like Tabu, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Katrina Kaif.
Having said all that, let us get one thing clear. Regardless of what the groups have been for both the movies, they may be inferior in general.
Sanam Re, made on a budget of only Rs 20 crore has regained in two days around half its investment. So for Sanam Re to reach on the safe zone, it will not be a challenging endeavor from here onwards if the movie has a high-speed fall on Monday. And although its box office performance has been unsatisfactory, the movie will break.
Same can not be said for Fitoor. The powerful ensemble, the dazzling narrative and the excellently shot locales could scarcely bring in numbers at the Box Office. As a result of this, the film has just brought in an issue of two days, which is not only unsatisfactory but disastrous around Rs 7 crore. The reason why we say so? It is going to have life round the Rs 20 crore that will seal its fate in the box office!
The groups have been underwhelming for both the pictures, given they are ardent romantic sagas releasing on a great Valentine’s Day weekend. The pictures couldn’t capitalise on the Vday fervour , and it has ended up being flop shows. While Sanam Re makers will not have a lot to stress but the tides have strike Fitoor the most because of its significant investments. They will not end up making losses although they may not make much of a gain. As for Fitoor, it is an entirely different story for sure!
