Ferrari launches its 488 GTB model priced at Rs 3.88 crore
NEW DELHI: The Car, which has a top rate of 325 km/h, is among the fastest street legal cars accessible all around the globe.
“India is an important market for us as it’s a growing economy and second there are real fans of Ferrari automobiles here. So there are chances for growth in this market,” Ferrari Middle East & Africa sales coordinator Aurelien Sauvard told PTI.
Commenting on the start, Select Cars Manager, Yadur Kapur said the Italian brand has many “loyal supporters” in northern India, and also the launch allows the company to bring them a brilliant new model.
Designed by Ferrari Styling Center, the 488 GTB can race from zero to 100 km/h in 3 seconds.
Ferrari has appointed Navneet Motors for Mumbai and Select Cars Pvt Ltd as its Delhi dealer.
The company, which entered India in 2011 through a supply pact with the Shreyans Group as its official importer in the nation, ran into trouble with all the partner, causing legal battle and ultimately parted ways in 2014 as customer complaints rose.
When Shreyans and Ferrari Group were slugging it out, there had been cases of customers receiving no deliveries after reserving the company’s cars.
Last year the company had found Ferrari California T priced Rs 3.45 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
