5 Ways to Boost Your Energy

We know that this year has brought about change, new challengesrestrictions, but lots of good, too. So, it comes as no surprise to know that the year, at times, has really brought all of our energy down. To start to feel better, it may be time to try and boost our energy, to get out of the rut that has been 2020! Boosting your energy will happen differently for everyone. Some people need rest, working out, or supplements to help them. We have compiled a few choices for you to try out. That way, you can see which one works best for you!

1. Hydrate

If you find that you aren’t drinking enough water during your day, that might be part of what is dragging you down. Hydro Flask bottles are made to last and are meant to help you stay hydrated no matter where life takes you. Hydro Flask is a great choice because you can customize your bottle to fit your needs. You can get the size that suits your hydration needs best. We recommend getting one that will hold a lot. That way, you are never stuck somewhere without water!

2. Power Naps

Sleep is a powerful tool to boost our energy. Yes, getting a full night’s sleep is vital for refreshing ourselves, healing, and growing. But power naps can be beneficial for a midday energy boost! Research has shown that a 10-20 minute nap can reduce stress, improve cognitive function, and increase alertness. Try not to exceed 30 minutes, though. That is when you will wake up groggier than you started. The perfectly timed power nap will result in more patience, increased learning, more energy, and better overall health. You just can’t seem to go wrong with a power nap. (Just try and wait until after you finish this article to take one.)

3. Energy Supplements

If you are trying to maintain high energy levels but are trying to cut back on the jitters and crash you get from drinking coffee, we have a solution for you! Objective Wellness’ Energy Supplement: Wide Awake. It will help you to stay alert, get a healthy dose of caffeine, and it comes in a chocolate square, so it tastes good, too. The square has a rapid caffeine release and delayed-release caffeine; that way, it will last you the whole day! Go ahead and try and get your cup of coffee to do that! Not only will it boost your energy, but it will boost your mood too!

4. Healthy Snacks

No one likes to get hangry (hungry and angry all mixed together). Avoid that all together and pack yourself some snacks! Now, taking healthy snacks with you when you are on the go doesn’t have to mean you are adding single-use plastics to your carbon footprint. Stasher Bags are a great alternative to using plastic bags when you want to take an energy-boosting snack along with you. You can pack them full of snacks. That way, you are prepared when you have that mid-afternoon energy crash. Some good energy-boosting snacks are fruit, trail mix, nuts, eggs, veggies, and meats. All of which can fit into a Stasher bag! They will help to boost your energy while also nourishing your body. That sounds good to us! So, happy snacking!

5. Limit Sugar Intake

By limiting your sugar intake, you minimize the chance for you to have a sugar crash during your day. Therefore, you won’t be feeling sluggish and worn down, and your natural energy will boost up and kick you into gear. High sugar snacks like candy and processed foods may boost you instantly, but they make for a harder crash once the sugar has worn off. It’s better to not even tempt fate with consuming them and go for a healthier alternative instead.

Don’t be afraid to try out all the options to see which ones have the biggest boost on your energy levels! Your body will thank you!
