Shane Warne: Former Cricketer’s Charity Foundation Under Investigation, Reports Say:
“Consumer Affairs Victoria is concerned about several inconsistencies in The Shane Warne Foundation’s reporting and bookkeeping practices and is looking into this issue,” a spokeswoman told The Age.
“The Shane Warne Foundation has informed it’s had several staffing changes and has sought a meeting with Consumer Affairs Victoria to seek further advice concerning their fundraising and record keeping duties.”
TSWF’s present general manager Emma Coleman declined to comment on the claims.
Karl Stefanovic, Russell Crowe, Elizabeth Hurley and Michael Clarke are among the TSWF’s ambassadors. Based on Shane Warne the foundation has raised around $8 million since it was set up in 2003.
